It is with great sadness, after 27 years, we announce that Dreams Occasionwear Norwich is closing its doors.

The boss has made the very personal decision to retire, and whilst it is the start of a new chapter for her, it also means the end of an era for Dreams.

Like so many independent businesses, the rising costs of running a bricks-and-mortar shop have made things increasingly difficult, and after much consideration, the decision has been made to close our doors.

For our staff, this is a very emotional time too. We’ve shared so many years, memories, laughs and special moments with our customers, so saying goodbye to Dreams is something we’re finding incredibly difficult.

But you know us… we love a sale, and this one is no different.

To every customer who has walked through our doors, trusted us to help find that special outfit, recommended us to friends and family, or supported us online — thank you.

Thank you for the conversations, the laughs, the celebrations and for allowing us to be part of so many important occasions.

And to our amazing staff — thank you for everything. For the hard work, the laughs, the busy Saturdays, the endless steaming, styling and tidying, and for making Dreams what it has been.

We may be closing the doors, but the friendships, memories and stories we’ve made along the way will stay with us long after the last customer leaves.

It’s going to be an emotional final chapter, but we’re incredibly grateful to have shared it together.

IMPORTANT — OUR WEBSTORE IS NOW CLOSED

We know lots of you have been asking if our closing-down sale will be available online.

Unfortunately, it won’t.

With our final closing date of Saturday 31st October, we simply do not have enough time to operate the webstore while adhering to the requirements of distance selling regulations and the associated return timeframes.

Rather than offer online shopping and risk not being able to fulfil those obligations, we have made the decision to close the webstore completely.
